Anfield club led petition succeeds.
Liverpool fans have edged a step closer to seeing the Hillsborough reports, after Parliament agreed to discuss the matter.
The debate will take place on October 17th, with a vote to take place on the release of the infamous documents around the disaster.
They will now likely be released next spring, once the Hillsborough Independent Panel has investigated fully.
The government’s announcement follows a successful petition campaign, with 100,000 online signatures needed to bring it to the government’s attention.
That figure is currently around the 138,000 mark, showing the united front football fans – and not just Liverpool fans – have given to find justice for the 96.
