Old Trafford boss wants the new ‘Da Silva’s’.
Manchester United are keeping close tabs on Vitesse Arnhem defenders Alex and Andre Santos.
Manager Sir Alex Ferguson has asked his scouts to keep an eye on the 19-year-old’s progress in Holland this season.
The Red Devils boss signed teenage twins Rafael and Fabio Da Silva from Fluminese three years ago and history could be about to repeat itself.
The Santos brothers have been described as Flamengo’s answer to the Da Silva’s, according to Talksport.
The pair only signed four-year deals with Dutch club Vitesse earlier this year and are yet to appear for the first team but this will not stop Ferguson making a move.
But United, along with Chelsea, look set to miss on Juventus winger Milos Krasic, according to his agent Marko Naletilic.
It has even been reported the Premier League champions have already opened talks with the Serie A giants and the Serbia international’s agent about a move.
Both clubs were expected to make January bids for the 26-year-old but Naletilic has now rebuffed the suggestions.
“These rumours are absurd,” he told notiziariosportivo.com. “Milos is very happy at Juventus, who have no intention of selling him.
“I don’t know where this talk has come from but I have not had any contact with Chelsea or Manchester United.”
