Winger plans to stay at White Hart Lane.
Gareth Bale has dismissed any talk that he was looking to leave Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.
Speaking on Sky Sports News, the Wales international flyer insisted he never wanted a transfer – despite regular summer rumours that Manchester United wanted him to replace their own Welsh veteran Ryan Giggs.
“I never really thought about leaving Tottenham in the summer,” said the 22 year-old Bale..
“I just signed a new deal and I’m enjoying my football.
“I’m playing well and I’m playing regularly.
“The main thing for me, I’m still young, is that I want to be playing week in, week out and getting better, and I’m still at an age where I can keep improving.”
