Allianz Arena star not allowed to leave the country.
Bayern Munich defender Breno has been arrested on suspicion of setting fire to his own house.
The 21-year-old remains in investigative custody after Thursday’s hearing in his suspected arson case.
The Brazilian appeared before a judge for the first time on Thursday.
Prosecutor’s spokeswoman Barbara Stockinger told the dapd news agency the judge has not decided on whether he will be released while the investigation continues.
He was arrested to prevent him from fleeing the country, but it is unclear whether Breno will be allowed to travel with his team-mates to face Udinese in the Champions League on October 18.
Whilst no one was hurt in the blaze, the centre-back was taken to hospital for precaution after breathing in vast quantities of smoke.
Investigators believe Breno set his rented villa on fire nine days ago, causing damage estimated at up to £1.3million.
Breno is reported to have been alone in the property when it went up in flames just after midnight on September 19.
Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge hopes defender Breno will soon be released after spending the last few days in police custody.
“I have spoken to his solicitor, who has daily contact with him, and he says Breno is not doing very well, which is understandable,” Rummenigge told Sky Sports.
“He is obviously psychologically very delicate.
“The solicitor has called for a meeting to discuss his custody terms and we hope he will be released quickly because we believe it was an exaggerated measure to take him into custody.
“It is important the state prosecutors and also the judge show the necessary sensitivity and fairness in this issue.
“There are no risks of him trying to suppress evidence or fleeing.”
