John Terry’s alleged racist abuse of Anton Ferdinand has been captured by a second TV camera.
The England captain has been accused of calling QPR defender Ferdinand a “f****** black ****”, a claim being investigated by the police and the FA.
Footage already released shows Terry appearing to mouth an insult at Ferdinand, but the moments before are blocked out by another player’s head.
Terry vehemently denies the allegations, and said in a statement: “I thought Anton was accusing me of using a racist slur against him. I responded aggressively, saying that I never used that term.”
The new footage could shed further light on Terry’s full remark to Ferdinand.
However, an ‘insider’ states: “Frustratingly, it doesn’t appear to show much more than has already been aired.”

So there you have it. Abridged version, new footage is of little use. One can only hope that the FA, and indeed the police, speed up and complete their investigations before too much longer as this has dragged on for quite some time.
Indeed allegations by Man United full back Patrice Evra against Liverpool’s Luis Suarez are also being looked into but as yet nothing has been forthcoming from the FA on the matter.
Meanwhile Fabio Capello has confirmed that he intends to pick Chelsea skipper John Terry in his preliminary squad for the upcoming friendlies against Spain and Sweden.
