Dortmund man makes it clear he wants Emirates Stadium move.
Borussia Dortmund star Kevin Grosskreutz has admitted he would be interested in a move to Arsenal.
Arsenal are thought to be keeping tabs on the 23-year-old after being impressed by him in this season’s UEFA Champions League.
The Gunners saw Grosskreutz close up when they faced Dortmund in the Champions League in September and they have been keeping tabs on his progress ever since.
Grosskreutz is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in Germany after breaking into the national team last season and helping Dortmund win the Bundesliga last term.
“If I do ever leave Dortmund, I would like to go to the Premier League in England, and my favourite club there is Arsenal,”

So basically the 23 year old Borussia Dortmund man is saying ‘come and get me’ and given that Arsene Wenger is strongly linked with the German international, perhaps that is exactly what the Gunners boss will do?
Arsenal may well be looking at bringing in new attacking talent, either in January or more likely next summer. Nicklas Bendtner and Carlos Vela are likely to leave on a permanent basis, having been farmed out on loan to Sunderland and Real Sociedad respectively.
Moroccan international Maroune Chamakh has to improve or he will be out on his ear and that would very much leave the North London club looking for reinforcements. The fact that Grosskreutz can play out wide as well as up front may also be in the burly German’s favour.
Now in his third season at Dortmund the youngster appears to be signaling his interest in a move to the Emirates Stadium and his reported £10m price tag seems fair. Grosskreutz is a quality player who Wenger may feel has the potential to progress further following his consistent performances last term that helped secure a domestic title.
Arsenal have another chance to run the rule on the Dortmund man when the Bundesliga side take on Wenger’s men later this month in Champions League action.
