Nou Camp side come up with offer that Etihad Stadium side would surely not refuse.

Spanish and European Champions Barcelona are ready to hand striker David Villa to Manchester City if they can land Carlos Tevez and Serbian left-back Aleksander Kolarov in return.
In what has been a difficult season for David Villa, Barcelona are now prepared to allow the 29 year old to leave the club and may even allow the World Cup winner to depart for pastures new as early as January. Whilst it may suit Manchester City to complete a straight swap for Carlos Tevez they may be hesitant in allowing Kolarov to also depart as part of the deal and would most likely want some cash to be included.

Let’s for one minute suspend disbelief and consider that Barcelona would make the offer reported by this source, if so, then surely Roberto Mancini would take less than a millisecond to respond in the affirmative.
David Villa has been linked with a move away from the Nou Camp, some sources stating that such a departure would be down to a breakdown in his relationship with Lionel Messi, an allegation that appears to have little or no basis in fact. Premier League table toppers Man City would presumably love to sign the 29 year old Spanish international and a swap offer like this would be simply too good to turn down.
Mancini wants rid of Tevez and can probably afford to let Serbian left back Kolarov leave as he has Gael Clichy as a first team regular anyway.
Barcelona may feel they need a new left back, although Kolarov hasn’t been all the consistent at Man City. Pep Guardiola would however surely not be considering bringing one man ticking time-bomb Tevez to the club, would he?
