Swansea winger set for Anfield?
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish will make a shock January swoop for speedy Swansea winger Nathan Dyer, according to reports.
The Scot has been impressed by Dyer’s part in Swansea’s strong start to their Barclays Premier League season, so much so that he want to bring the winger to Anfield, according to The Metro.
Liverpool made a number of additions to their squad over the summer and Dyer could be the next young star heading to Anfield.
Dyer was impressive in his side’s narrow loss to champions Manchester United on Saturday evening, and Dalglish has apparently seen enough to signal the go-ahead for a transfer window offer.
Dyer’s form has attracted other admirers, however, as both Everton and Newcastle United are said to be keen on the former Southampton man.

Liverpool were linked with Nathan Dyer a great deal over the summer, but their supposed interest never reached fruition.
The diminutive wide man – who stands at a mere 5’5″ tall – has adapted well to life in the top flight, and perhaps could offer something different to Liverpool.
It is almost indisputable that at present the Merseyside team are performing better without £35m striker Andy Carroll in the team, and Kenny Dalglish may elect to introduce a wide player with lightning pace to his team to better complement Luis Suarez.
Whether Nathan Dyer is the top class winger that Reds fans would like though remains to be seen – while rivals Everton are unlikely to be able to afford the prospective transfer fee.
Newcastle are likely to offer more competition should a bidding war for Dyer emerge.
