Neil Warnock hopes to bring Old Trafford pair to Loftus Road.
QPR are interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson as Sir Alex Ferguson looks to sell his fringe players.
Reports are suggesting that as many as six players in order to free up squad places for new arrivals and sees Darron Gibson as expendable, alerting Neil Warnock to the 24-year-old’s availability.
Gibson has represented Manchester United 30 times since he emerged from the youth set up at United and has enjoyed two successful loan spells at Royal Antwerp and Wolverhampton Wanderers however in recent games the Irish midfielder has come under criticism and its thought that QPR could be prepared to offer Gibson first-team football that he needs to ensure he gains a place in the Republic of Ireland squad for Euro 2012.
The 24-year-old could be available for a cut price of £3 million in January but its thought that Everton and Newcastle are also interested in the player.
As well as taking an interest in off form Man United midfielder Darron Gibson, Neil Warnock is also said to be keen on Italian striker Federico Macheda and the West London side are ready to make an offer of £10m for the pair in January to assist in the club’s ambition to keep themselves in the Premier League.
QPR have started their Premier League campaign solidly but Warnock feels that additions in January are needed to make sure that the newly promoted side keep the side away from the drop zone and has earmarked a move for the Old Trafford pair in the hope that Sir Alex Ferguson will consider offers for the under performing members of his squad.
Gibson was strongly linked with a move to Sunderland in the summer and has not played a single minute of Premier League football thus far this season. The Irish international may be keen on a move to QPR as he knows he will need regular first team football to make sure of his place in the Ireland squad for the Euro 2012 finals.
Federico Macheda has played just two minutes of Premier League action this season and the young striker is also keen to get some first team action under his belt after a couple of stagnate years at Man United. QPR are said to be ready to offer £7m for the 20 year old but a loan deal may be more likely in January.
