3. Federico Macheda
Manchester United striker Federico Macheda has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
Despite scoring some crucial goals at the deep end of the title winning 2008-2009 season, Macheda has stagnated since then.
A disastrous loan spell back in his home country with Sampdoria in the last campaign did not help, with the team eventually relegated.
It was in sharp contrast to the period fellow Red Devils forward Danny Welbeck enjoyed at Sunderland, and Sir Alex Ferguson may look to grant Macheda an opportunity in a Barclays Premier League team in January.
Everton would surely be interested, and with Moyes so adept at helping promising young footballers develop their talent, perhaps Manchester United and Macheda would be similarly keen.
