Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is lining up a sensational swap offer for Chelsea midfield ace Frank Lampard.
Mourinho is ready to exchange former Spanish Under-21 international Esteban Granero for the England star.
Attacking midfielder Granero, 24, is valued at £6million and both Arsenal and Liverpool are keen to sign him next month.
But Mourinho is now prepared to use him as bait to capture 33-year-old Lampard, who is having a torrid time under new Chelsea coach Andre Villas-Boas.

Whilst it’s true that Frank Lampard is no spring chicken, he is still a top notch player and has a two or three years in the tank and offering Esteban Granero in exchange for the England man doesn’t sound all that tempting to me.
Granero is at best a bit part player at the Bernabeu and at worst, very much surplus to requirements. That isn’t to say that the midfielder isn’t a decent player but we are talking about a 24 year old without a senior national team cap and a player who certainly is not good enough to claim a first team spot at the Bridge, so why bother?
