San Siro giants attempt audacious Etihad Stadium swoop.
AC Milan will use the money raised from selling Alexandre Pato to Paris St Germain to fund a double-raid on Manchester City for Carlos Tevez and Mario Balotelli.
The Serie A Giants lead the chase to sign misfit City striker Tevez, but now also want to bring Balotelli back to Italy.
Milan hope to complete the deal to take the Argentina striker to the San Siro in the coming weeks, and will then return for Balotelli in the summer.
But they must raise funds first and plan to offload Brazilian forward Pato to raise the £45million required to tempt City to sell.

This would be quite a coup. AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri already has a fair few attacking options and his side is by far the highest scorers in Serie A, with 35 scored in 16 games, but that doesn’t appear to be getting in the way of this Daily Mail story.
The Rossoneri may have a good chance of landing Argentine headache Carlos Tevez, but only if they pay what Man City demand, but the chances of Roberto Mancini accepting offers for Mario Balotelli are slim to none. The young Italian may be a bit wacky off the field of play and his antics may lead to salacious newspaper headlines, but on the pitch the former Inter Milan man has been very consistent this term.
The 21 year old has netted 11 goals from 11 starts thus far this season in all competitions and is seemingly happy at the club and given that Man City are riding high at the top of the Premier League table there seems little reason the Palermo born striker would be planning a return to his homeland any time soon.
