Could Jordan Rhodes grab the goals needed at Anfield?
Liverpool are reportedly considering a surprise move for Huddersfield Town striker Jordan Rhodes in order to freshen up their misfiring front line.
With Luis Suarez suspended for eight games and Andy Carroll only having scored once since October, many Liverpool fans hope a forward will be bought this January.
Craig Bellamy has demonstrated his quality when selected, but isn’t often able to play consecutive games due to a knee problem, while Dirk Kuyt appears to have lost his scoring touch.
Both players are often selected on the flanks for Liverpool, and perhaps Kenny Dalglish will look to sign another central striker.
Huddersfield man Rhodes, 21, clearly knows where the back of the net is.
This season, he has 25 goals in 21 games – including 7 in 2 matches in the Carling Cup.
The step up to Premier League football is obviously a large one, but last year made his debut on the international stage for Scotland, and one gets the feeling 2012 could be even bigger for him.
Could he make his name at Anfield?
