Belgian on his way to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are closing in on an £8million summer deal for Kevin de Bruyne after it emerged his agent will meet Genk for transfer talks on Wednesday.
The 20-year old winger almost joined Chelsea in the last window and recently complained that his club were pricing him out of his dream move.
His wish finally looks like being granted, though, after Sportsmail learned that his agent Patrick de Coster will hold talks with Genk officials at the Belgian League’s Golden Shoe 2011 player-of-the-year ceremony in Ostend.

Chelsea have been tracking impressive goal-scoring winger Kevin de Bruyne for quite some time and it seems that a deal is practically in place that will see the young Belgian move to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
The 20 year old wide-man was instrumental in last season’s triumphant title success and has further impressed during Genk’s Champions League campaign, even though his club did only collect two points from their six group matches. De Bruyne laid on 16 assists last term and this season has continued to impress despite his side’s poor overall form, which has left them some ten points behind leaders Anderlecht and down in sixth spot.
Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas is clearly looking to build a new generation of Stamford Bridge talent and appears likely to offload Florent Malouda which may leave the West London club needing further attacking options and young Belgium international appears to have a great deal of potential and could well flourish at the Premier League club.
