Brazil forward appears destined for Camp Nou.
Barcelona president Santo Rosell has confirmed that the Catalan club are interested in Brazil forward Neymar.
However, the prospective transfer is unlikely to happen for quite some time, with Rosell claiming Barca will only likely move in 2014.
“After 2014, when his contract expires, we will see,” Rosell said on COM Radio.
“That is when he wants to take the next step.
“Neymar is a long-term affair. Then we will talk.”
Neymar has enjoyed a stunning rise to fame in the last two years, winning the FIFA Puskas Award last year, having a superb domestic campaign capped by a Copa Libertadores triumph, and a place at the Club World Cup.
A wonderful goal against Kashiwa Reysol was the highlight of his tournament though, as in the final Santos were overrun by Barcelona.
Well, if you can’t beat them, join them…
