Italian manager is getting a reputation he would probably be best to steer clear of.

Roberto Mancini has defended his brandishing of an imaginary card after Wigan’s Maynor Figueroa’s blatant handball by suggesting that it was a ‘normal’ reaction that was exactly the same as that performed by Wayne Rooney during the recent FA Cup clash between Man United & Man City. The same act that the Italian complained about following the 3-2 defeat.
Indeed this hypocritical stance is also similar to the stance Mancini took following Glen Johnson’s tackle on Joleon Lescott in the recent 1-0 Carling Cup defeat. A tackle that was not even deemed a foul by the referee on the night but a tackle that the Man City boss felt duty bound to speak out on in a post-match interview.
Indeed Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard stated that Mancini’s actions on that night were pretty hypocritical, and did so whilst a live interview was in progress. See video below.
Now if Mr. Mancini is not careful he will develop a reputation for demanding behaviour of others that he is unwilling to adopt himself.
