Loftus Road boss keen on White Hart Lane midfielder.
QPR are chasing Tottenham midfielder Niko Kranjcar.
The Rs are eyeing a £3million swoop for Kranjcar.
New boss Mark Hughes sees the creative midfielder as the man to spark his team in a relegation battle.
Kranjcar has been on the fringes at Tottenham and needs games to get in Croatia’s Euro 2012 squad.
Niko Kranjcar may well be one of the most criminally underused players in the Premier League. The Croatian playmaker is a top notch performer but due to the top notch midfielders available to Harry Redknapp the 27 year old former Portsmouth man spends much of his time wasting away on the bench.
Whilst there appears to be interest in Kranjcar’s services from abroad, notably from sides in Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga, the short move from North to West London may well appeal to the adaptable playmaker.
Redknapp may be willing to accept £3m for the Tottenham bench warmer as he looks to trim his squad ahead of making new additions of his own. Kranjcar has made just four Premier League starts this season.
