Source claims that Bernabeu side are in negotiations to sign Anfield star.
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez’s future at the club was cast into new doubt last night after it was reported that negotiations have begun to take him to Real Madrid.
Kenny Dalglish has recently reiterated that Suarez will not be leaving Anfield, but a number of Spanish sites yesterday claimed the Madrid club have instructed Fabio Montecalvo from World Football Management to begin talks with Liverpool.
Montecalvo, who has close ties to Florentino Perez, was instrumental in the deal that brought Alberto Aquilani to Anfield and is said to have maintained a strong working relationship with the Merseyside club and it’s officials.

This would be very shocking indeed and it seems highly unlikely that Real Madrid would attempt to enter into negotiations with a player who Liverpool would clearly not listen to offers for. The former Ajax man has only been at Anfield for a year and appears to have grown a great affinity with the Merseyside club and though recent events may have left the Uruguayan facing a backlash he would surely not consider leaving the Premier League side any time soon.
Jose Mourinho could well do with alternative attacking options because at present the La Liga giants only have two recognised strikers in their first team squad, namely Gonzalo Higuain and Karim Benzema, but the Real Madrid boss can also count on a mountain of goals from Cristiano Ronaldo to boot.
Suarez is Liverpool’s main attacking threat and having to make do without his services for eight matches, due to the ban handed down by the FA, will prove very tough indeed. Andy Carroll has struggled to make an impact and though Dirk Kuyt and Craig Bellamy also offer support, both work better out wide then up front.
Liverpool paid Ajax £22.8m for the 24 year old last January and thus far Suarez has netted 12 and assisted another 11 in 33 matches for the Premier League side.
