European giants form queue in pursuit of Anfield star.
INTER MILAN and Real Madrid are weighing up audacious summer bids to land Liverpool’s Luis Suarez.
The European giants believe they could exploit the controversy surrounding the Uruguayan’s eight-match ban for racially abusing Manchester United’s Patrice Evra to prise him away from Anfield.

Liverpool would surely fend off any interest in the one attacking option they have that does appear to be working. Luis Suarez may have seen his form drop off after the Patrice Evra, with the Uruguayan managing just one Premier League goal since that clash at Old Trafford, but surely the 24 year old striker would not consider moves to either of these European giants, right?
Would Anfield fans be a tad fearful of how the former Ajax striker would react if a solid offer was made to the Merseyside club about Suarez? If you take into account the eight match ban handed down to the player, who has vehemently denied the ‘racism’ charge handed to him, and you factor in that Liverpool are struggling to mount a genuine push for a top four finish, currently sitting in seventh some five points from a Champions League spot, then perhaps exit talk is not out of the question.
There is no imperative for Liverpool to sell and that should keep Suarez at the club in the short to medium term but Kenny Dalglish will be aware that his side’s struggle for form could lead to the club’s top performers considering their long term futures.
The tide of optimism that washed over Liverpool once they had got rid of crook co-owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett and replaced Roy Hodgson with legend Dalglish has evaporated somewhat in recent weeks and many fans will be looking to the club to show more character, indeed Dalglish himself was seething with anger following the club’s defeat at Bolton yesterday and he is looking for a return to form that could help spell the end to speculation over Suarez’s future.
In terms of the two sides said to be ‘weighing up’ a possible bid for Suarez an offer if far more likely to come from Real Madrid as Inter Milan are said to not be on the greatest financial footing at present and given that it would have to take a fairly monumental bid to persuade Liverpool to sell it would seem that Jose Mourinho is more likely that Claudio Ranieri to make just such an offer.
