There has been much speculation about Ravel Morrison’s Old Trafford future and now Sky Sports appear to be of the belief that the 18 year old midfielder is about to make a move to West Ham. The teenager is said to be out of contract in the summer and many reports have alleged that the youngster has been issuing excessive wage demands that have left Sir Alex Ferguson being open to his departure.
Newcastle United had a £1m, according to the Daily Mail, a bid rejected but perhaps West Ham have made a superior offer? Sam Allardyce’s Hammers side are top of the Championship and the former Bolton boss is clearly looking to the future and sees the England Under 19 international as a player who can offer something to the East London club in the long term, as well as presumably being of use this term.
Morrison is yet to play a single minute of Premier League football and that is reportedly one of the reasons the local born talent is keen to consider alternative destinations, clubs who can offer him regular first team football sooner rather than later.
