Emirates Stadium boss linked with national team job.
Arsene Wenger could be tempted with an offer to become the next France boss this summer.
The Arsenal boss has come under pressure from fans this season who are fed up with their failure to keep pace with the Barclays Premier League’s leading sides.
If Wenger fails to deliver a trophy this season, Arsenal will have gone seven seasons without silverware.
But he may be offered an escape route out of the Emirates by his country, who are believed to be ready to dump Laurent Blanc after Euro 2012.
According to Journal du dimanche, France Football Federation president Noel La Graet will call time on Blanc’s reign.

Arsene Wenger has had a tough time of it this season. He’s seen his Arsenal side fall further back from the title chasing pack and could well struggle to secure a top four finish and the Frenchman has also experienced a new level of dissatisfaction from his own fans, most publicly displayed when the Gunners boss took off Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain during the North London club’s match with Manchester United.
It does seem odd that the French Football Federation president would be talking of ‘calling time’ on Laurent Blanc’s reign at this stage as clearly this could well unsettle things in the national team camp ahead of the Euro 2012 finals.
Wenger may well be tempted by the chance to coach the French national team and a lot could depend on whether Arsenal go a seventh straight season without silverware AND fail to clinch Champions League football for next term, if those two acts do occur then he may well be left to consider his Emirates Stadium future.
