Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is exploring the prospect of bringing back AC Milan midfielder Mathieu Flamini.
Flamini is now inside the final six months of his current Milan deal and his situation has alerted Wenger, says Le 10 Sport.
The France international’s future is expected to be decided next month.

This seems highly unlikely, not just because Mathieu Flamini left the North London club in rather controversial fashion but also because the Frenchman would arguably not add value to the Arsenal squad.
The 27 year old one time Marseille man left the Gunners on a free transfer in the summer of 2008 after repeatedly stating that he had every intention of signing a new deal, instead using the lack of transfer fee to get a huge salary offer from AC Milan, a similar trick he played prior to his move from France to the Premier League.
Things have not gone very well for the battling midfielder who has spent large chunks of his three and a half years at the San Siro club either out injured or on the bench.
Given that Arsenal have Alex Song to provide strength in the centre of the park as well as young Emmanuel Frimpong to call upon as back up, a move for such a hated player as Flamini would make little sense and would surely not go down well with the Emirates Stadium faithful.
