Is this Harry’s way of turning down the England position?
So basically Harry Redknapp thinks it is possible to manage the England national team AND a Premier League side, but only for a finals tournament but not in a permanent capacity. This is pretty much saying that he would probably be interested in taking over for the summer but feels that Tottenham are on the cusp of very real progress and that he wants to stick with his position at White Hart Lane, which is fair enough.
Redknapp has done a terrific job at the North London club, who were in a terrible state when he arrived back in October 2008. For the record Harry has amassed 92 wins from his 181 games in charge, losing 44 times, an excellent record.
Tottenham currently lie in third spot some ten points ahead of the sides battling for fourth spot.
