Parma ace on way to Anfield?
Liverpool may look to sign Sampdoria winger Jonathan Biabiany this summer, who has spent this season on loan at Parma.
The former France Under 21 international, who is now 23 years of age, took some time to find his feet in top flight football, but has shone throughout the current campaign.
Having signed for Inter Milan at the age of 16, Biabiany was sent on loan to several Serie A clubs.
He played well intermittently, but took time to mature, eventually moving to Sampdoria permanently.
Seven years after that Internazionale move, he is still a young professional, but has gained the necessary experience to display his true potential.
An extraordinary dribbler at pace, Biabiany has the skill and eye for a pass to unlock defences.
He plays most of his games on the right flank or on that side of a front three, and has helped his team out with some great performances.
The statistics are solid: Biabiany has scored three goals and supplied six assists in 23 Serie A games this season.
That makes him infinity times more productive than Stewart Downing.
Sampdoria are of course in Serie B this season, and the Genoa club do not look set for promotion at present, sitting eight points even from a playoff position.
Having shown he can cut it in the top flight, Biabiany may look to move to a club at a higher level, and a move to one of top clubs in Europe might prove too good to resist.
Would Jonathan Biabiany be the perfect fit for Kenny Dalglish at Anfield?
