Liverpool star Luis Suarez is being lined up for a summer move to Italy, according to a report.
The story claims that Serie A giants Juventus have targeted the controversial Uruguay striker as the man to lead them back into the Champions League and are planning a £30million raid on Anfield.
There is a belief, the report continues, that Reds owner John W Henry could be interested in selling Suarez because of the embarrassment heaped on the club by the racism row involving him and Manchester United’s Patrice Evra.

Given that Juventus are back on the footballing map, after two seventh place Serie A finishes, having gone the entire domestic league season unbeaten, a bid from the Italian giants may worry Liverpool and the chances of Luis Suarez considering his Anfield future could increase if the Merseyside club fails to secure a top four finish this term.
The Uruguayan has had a tricky first year, with the 25 year old former Ajax man receiving an eight match ban after the FA found him guilty of racially abusing Man United full-back Patrice Evra. The Liverpool striker’s decision to then refuse to shake the Frenchman by the hand further exacerbated the issue and led to a public apology from the forward.
However on the field of play Suarez has been a success and is undoubtedly Liverpool’s most effective attacking weapon. Even when you take into account small patches of average form the striker has notched up an impressive 14 goals and 12 assists in 37 appearances since his £22.8m move from Amsterdam 13 months ago.
Whilst Andy Carroll has struggled to make an impact, though much improved of late, Suarez has been a hugely pivotal player in Kenny Dalglish’s starting eleven and he can ill afford to lose him this summer. Luckily for the Anfield club it does appear that the Uruguayan has a great affinity with the side who has stood by him and as such it would be surprising if he chose to act on advances for his services.
However if Juventus come calling and put in a solid offer on the table then Liverpool may still worry about how Suarez will react given the Turin sides return to prominence.
