Craven Cottage to welcome new addition.
Mahamadou Diarra to join Fulham
Former Real Madrid midfielder Mahamadou Diarra is to join Fulham until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old Mali international has been a free agent since leaving Monaco last summer.
The move is subject to a visa being granted and includes the option of an extension until 2013.
Diarra, who reportedly cost Real £22m in 2006, won two league titles in four seasons with the Spanish side.

This is a very wise addition for Martin Jol to bring to his Craven Cottage squad as not only if the 30 year old former Real Madrid man an experienced top level performer but he is also a player looking to re-ignite a career that has stuttered badly of late.
Diarra picked up four Ligue 1 titles with Lyon before moving to the Bernabeu in 2006, where he notched up another two La Liga titles and made over 120 appearances before moving to Monaco who were subsequently relegated from the French top tier in his first season at the club.
