La Liga giants target Old Trafford and White Hart Lane talent.
EcoDiario says Mourinho in recent days has submitted a six-player summer shopping list, though club sources say they won’t move for any of the targets until he makes clear will be staying next season.
The players in question are: Mario Fernandes (21, Gremio), Kyle Walker (21, Tottenham), Fernando (24, Porto), Nemanja Vidic (30, Manchester United), Eden Hazard (21, Lille) and Mario Götze (19, Borussia Dortmund).
One would wonder if Jose Mourinho would need to make such wholesale changes given that a) his Real Madrid side look set to wrestle the La Liga title from rivals Barcelona and b) they have a relatively young squad with top notch replacements for just about every position.
Real Madrid may well be looking for new central defensive options but it seems highly unlikely that the Bernabeu boss would target Nemanja Vidic given that the Serbian has been out injured for months and is 30 years of age but a move for the hugely impressive Tottenham full-back Kyle Walker may be a distinct possibility as there have been reports that the Spanish giants have scouted the England international.
Moves for Hazard and Gotze have been discussed for the past year and Real Madrid will join multiple suitors in the hunt for the talented young Belgian and German internationals.
