There are several tough to call matches in the Premier League this weekend as every single team is in action across Saturday, Sunday and Monday in the search of crucial points.

The first game of the weekend – Chelsea v Tottenham at 12.45pm on Saturday – is a classic example of this as it really could go either way. Chelsea have shown excellent form recently, but they lost at Manchester City last time out, while Tottenham are without a win in four.

Bolton v Blackburn – both of whom are in a battle for Premier League survival – is another one that should be extremely close. Bolton have had a difficult week of course, while Rovers have won their last two.

On a busy Saturday afternoon of action, Swansea v Everton is a fascinating encounter too with the home side in excellent form and the visitors looking to avoid three successive defeats.

The remaining three matches at 3pm on Saturday are ones you would expect the home teams to win, but nothing is certain in this league.

Arsenal should beat Aston Villa, but they have slipped up before this season, while Norwich and Sunderland will be looking for three points against Wolves and QPR respectively. However, both away teams are fighting for their lives right now.

The late kick-off on Saturday sees Manchester City travel to Stoke City. Roberto Mancini’s men are no doubt favourites for this one as they look to build on the fantastic 2-1 victory over Chelsea during the week.

Another competitive contest then takes place in Sunday’s only game as West Brom – who have won their last two home games – host a Newcastle side that got back to winning ways against Norwich last weekend. Again, both teams will be going for the win in this one.

Completing a busy weekend of Premier League action, Manchester United take on Fulham at Old Trafford. This will be seen as a home banker by many, but one thing we have learned this season is that another shock is just around the corner.

Bring on the weekend!
