Nou Camp boss heading for England.
Spanish source AS claim that Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola’s family are moving to London which could lead many to believe that the Nou Camp manager is set to take up a Premier League post with the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham seemingly the most likely possible destinations for the 41 year old.
Guardiola likes to stick to one year rolling contracts at Barcelona and is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal and could therefore leave the Catalan club in the summer, a possibility that would seem more likely if his side fails to clinch the La Liga or Champions League crowns.
If this source is to be believed then clearly the fact that Guardiola’s family would move to London would lead many to believe that he could take up a post in the capital.
Given that Chelsea are currently without a permanent boss, with Roberto Di Matteo doing a sterling job as caretaker manager, a move to Stamford Bridge is a possibility but perhaps a move to Tottenham is also an option, especially if Harry Redknapp were to take charge of the England national team with the White Hart Lane man still the favourite for the vacant position.
Guardiola has won three La Liga titles, two Champions Leagues, a Copa Del Rey and two UEFA Super Cup triumphs in his first three seasons as Barcelona boss so if he were to draw a blank this term perhaps he would feel the need to move on to a fresh challenge?
