The Italian giants have enjoyed their best season for some time, finding themselves one point ahead of second place AC Milan with five games to play. After some heavy investment, Juve look set to mix it up with the big boys of the footballing world once again.
Juventus have made it no secret that they are long-term admires of Manchester United’s Nemanja Vidic, who has endured a frustrating season with Manchester United. The United hard man has been a rock in the United defense for many a season now, but he may feel that with the likes of Phil Jones and Chris Smalling climbing through the ranks, now might be the time to move on to pastures new. The Serbian international has seen his time on the pitch limited due to injuries, only managing a handful of appearances in this campaign.
Torres’ time at Stamford Bridge has been a frustrating one for the player. A lack of goals for the London side has seen Torres warm the bench for much of the season, with ex-Chelsea manager Villas-Boas opting for a one man attack led by Drogba. Where Torres has enjoyed decent performances of late, he may feel that a move away from the Bridge could be what he needs if he is to re-capture the blistering form he was in at Liverpool.
