The Welsh player is said to be part of a list being assembled by the Spanish champions, which also includes Arsenal striker Robin van Persie and Athletic Bilbao midfielder Javi Martinez.
The Catalans will hope they can convince Spurs to part with their prized possession and may lodge a £30m bid to test the north London club’s resolve.
Bale previously admitted it would be difficult to turn down a move to one of the big Spanish clubs.
