Given that even Ashley Young’s own boss said the following after the game yesterday.

“I think he played for the penalty,” Ferguson said.

“He has definitely taken a fall, it was a dramatic fall and he overdid it, but it’s a penalty definitely.”

One does wonder why the Newcastle United man decided to delete his tweet as quite frankly he is not far off the mark. The Man United winger is of course not the only player who takes a dive but he is currently the worst offender in the English top tier and something has to be done about it.

If that means players within the game naming and shaming the culprits then so be it.
