Courtois, 19, signed a five-year contract with Chelsea when he made the move from Belgian champions Genk last summer for an undisclosed fee.

The youngster impressed hugely last season, making 40 appearances in Belgium’s Pro League and also receiving his first call-up to the senior Belgium squad.

And following a successful season, the Chelsea keeper– who is currently on loan to Atletico Madrid – has rejected talk that he could join Real Madrid, with the Spanish giants keen on signing a youngster with the idea of one day taking over the certain legacy that current keeper Casillas is bound to leave.

The Belgium international is highly regarded at Chelsea and is considered by the club to be the long-term successor of current number one Petr Cech.

In order to help nurture the player, the Stamford Bridge club sent Courtois to Atletico Madrid for the 2011/2012 season and he hasn’t looked back since.

The 19-year-old has filled the void left by Manchester United’s David de Gea by capping a successful season, in which he has played 45 times, by helping the La Liga outfit to the final of the Europa League.

“I am not happy with these things [Real Madrid rumours] because they are not true,” said the Belgian, as quoted by Talksport.

“I am at Atletico and I am very happy here. I am also from Atletico. For me, I am almost ready to stay for another year.

“I am happy here and also at Chelsea, so that’s why I am not sure about Real Madrid.”

Courtois’ Chelsea deal is thought to expire in 2016.
