Having already snapped up Lukas Podolski it appears that Arsene Wenger still hopes to boost his attacking options further.
Arsenal have once again scouted Montpellier striker Olivier Giroud as they look to strengthen their squad this summer.

The Montpellier man has been in sparkling form and if Arsene Wenger wants to save some money he’d do well to launch a bid prior to the Euro 2012 finals as the French hot shot may see his valuation soar if he gets into gear this summer. Giroud is the top scorer in Ligue 1 this term and has helped his side to get within touching distance of their first ever Ligue 1 title.
The 25 year old would set the North London side back around £20m and that would mean Wenger breaking the Gunners transfer record to land the former Tours man, a price worth paying?
