French international breaks his fibula.
Bacary Sagna ruled out of Euro 2012 with broken leg
Arsenal right-back Bacary Sagna will miss France’s Euro 2012 campaign after breaking his fibula against Norwich City on Saturday.
The 29-year-old was carried from the field after falling to the ground unchallenged in the 33rd minute of a pulsating 3-3 draw at the Emirates.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirmed the injury in his post-match news conference. “It is a broken fibula, the same leg. He was kicked on it, it has not happened alone,” he said.

Arsenal’s horrible run of injuries continues as Bacary Sagna, who had only returned from injury in late January, becomes the latest victim of a curse that has hit a huge number of Arsene Wenger’s Gunners squad this term.
The likes of Andre Santos, Kieran Gibbs, Carl Jenkinson, Per Mertesacker, Mikel Arteta, Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere have all been sidelined for significant periods this term and Arsenal must now go into their crucial final game of the season without Sagna.
Arsenal travel to West Brom in their last fixture of the season and will hope that Tottenham and Newcastle United fail to gather points during their fixtures against Man City and Aston Villa respectively on Sunday.
