Chelsea set to release Salomon Kalou and Jose Bosingwa
Chelsea are set to release both Salomon Kalou and Jose Bosingwa when their contracts expire in the summer.
The club will announce their retained list later on Thursday and both names are likely to be omitted along with that of striker Didier Drogba.

Are Chelsea perhaps acting a little too swiftly in this instance? Both Salomon Kalou and Jose Bosingwa have in the last few weeks shown some of their best form of their Blues careers and for two experienced internationals to be offloaded for nothing seems a tad harsh.
One wonders if Roman Abramovich was ready to offer Didier Drogba a new contract prior to the Ivory Coast international’s decision to leave the club for pastures new. The 34 year old has had eight hugely successful years at the West London club and the big forward put in a excellent performance to help Chelsea to their maiden Champions League triumph.
No doubt a string of clubs will be keen on this trio, who’s combined total of Chelsea appearances exceeds 600 and have racked up almost 250 goals in the process.
