Pog off: Juventus chief claims they have “lured” Pogba away from Manchester United
The French teenager has long been linked with a switch to the Serie A champions
Paul Pogba is set to quit Manchester United and sign for Juventus, according to the Italian club’s general director.
The teenager has been at Old Trafford since joining the United youth programme from Le Havre in 2009.
Now the Serie A side claim they have reached an agreement to sign the player.
Club chief Giuseppe Marotta told Corriere dello Sport: “We have lured [Pogba] away from Manchester United. We respected the rules.”

Paul Pogba has been linked with an Old Trafford exit for some time now and many have speculated that the young French teenager could be Juventus bound and for the Serie A title holders to come out publicly to announce that they are at an advance stage in the pursuit of the midfielder would appear to suggest that those rumours are indeed accurate.
The 19 year old had apparently been unhappy at the lack of first team opportunities at Old Trafford, with the former Le Havre man having managed just 67 minutes of Premier League football thus far, and this has led to talk of a possible Man United exit for the French Under 19 international.
Having lost fellow Man United youngster Ravel Morrison to West Ham in January it is looking increasingly likely that Sir Alex Ferguson will lose the highly regarded French starlet. One wonders however if Pogba will so easily gain first team football at Juventus given that Antonio Conte’s side have just secured a Serie A title after going the entire domestic league season unbeaten. Clearly the young boss is not going to be all that keen on re-shuffling his pack to make room for the teen.
