Swansea City have agreed a fee of about £7.2m with Hoffenheim to sign loan midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, BBC Sport Wales understands.
The Icelandic international and Swansea are expected to have talks regarding his personal terms this week.
Sigurdsson joined Swansea in January on loan from the German club until the end of the season.

This is a good bit of business from the Liberty Stadium side. Brendan Rodgers knew all about Gylfi Sigurdsson from his days at Reading and has now snapped up the talented Icelandic international for a club record fee, and it’s definitely money very well spent.
The 22 year old enjoyed a very successful loan spell last term, notching up seven goals and three assists in his 16 Premier League games and clearly Rodgers was impressed enough to pay up Hoffenheim’s asking price.
The attacking midfielder enjoyed his first season at Hoffenheim, winning the fan’s player of the season award, but a change in management saw Sigurdsson forced out of the Bundesliga side’s starting line-up.
