Laurent Blanc has dropped midfielder Yoann Gourcuff and defender Mapou Yanga Mbiwa from his final selection ahead of the Euro 2012 finals.
Lyon star Gourcuff has struggled for form over the past 18 months and though Montpellier defender Mapou Yanga Mbiwa has been impressive, helping his side to a maiden Ligue 1 title, the 23 year old is still without a full international cap so perhaps his omission is not wholly surprising.
