Swansea City are interested in bringing Tottenham Hotspur misfit Giovani Dos Santos to the Liberty Stadium in a loan deal, according to BBC Sport.
Swans boss Brendan Rogers watched as the winger dazzled for Mexico in their 2-0 win over Wales in New York. Another Swansea target, Nottingham Forest full-back Chris Gunter, featured for Chris Coleman’s side.
Dos Santos has managed just 17 appearances in four seasons at White Hart Lane, since signing in summer 2008 for then boss Juande Ramos. The 22-year-old has spent time on loan at Ipswich, Galatasaray and Racing Santander and yesterday said he would return to Spurs after International duty for showdown talks with Chairman Daniel Levy.
It is understood that any approach from Swansea would be for a season long loan deal and would not affect the imminent signing of attacking midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Spurs centre-back Steven Caulker spent last year on loan at the Liberty in a similar deal.
