Roman Abramovich’s spending shows no sign of stopping despite finally landing the Champions League
Chelsea are only halfway through an incredible summer recruitment drive – despite already agreeing to splash nearly £80million on Eden Hazard, Hulk and Marko Marin.
The Blues are set to smash through the £100m mark before the start of next season as they now work on signing a winger, midfield destroyer and reliable right-back.

Having already brought in Eden Hazard and Marko Marin without having a permanent manager in place, it seems that Roman Abramovich, along with the help of technical director Michael Emenalo, is more than happy to act unilaterally in the transfer market ahead of any appointment of a permanent successor to Andre Villas-Boas.
This source claims Brazilian forward Hulk has agreed a £38m move to Stamford Bridge and the FC Porto man may well be an ideal replacement for Didier Drogba, who’s contract has now come to an end. Indeed Jose Bosingwa and Salomon Kalou have also seen their deals time out and therefore Abramovich has space in his squad to fill.
Hulk has been in fine form for his Portuguese side over the past couple of seasons and the 25 year old netted his first international goals, a brace away in Denmark, last week. That said, £38m is a hefty price to pay but clearly one that that Russian billionaire sees as necessary, not least because £50m man Fernando Torres is still to make an impact at the West London club.
