Manchester City have been put on red alert by the news that Inter Milan full-back Maicon is considering his future at the San Siro.
The Brazilian International has been with the Nerazzurri outfit since 2006 but his representative, Roberto Calenda, he may leave the club this summer.
“After six years, it could be that the time has arrived for a change of scenery for Maicon,” Calenda told Sky Sport Italia.
“Maicon has had a beautiful love story with Inter, that has lasted a long time. But like any love story at some point it may come to an end. There are several offers but we will evaluate them,” he added.
City boss Roberto Mancini is a big fan of the attacking right-back and signed him from Monaco during his spell as Inter manager.
Maicon has one year remaining on his contract at the Italian giants and would be available to big-spending City for a cut price fee. The Premier League Champions may face competition from Chelsea and Real Madrid for the 30-year-old’s signature.
