Former Real Madrid man on his way to Upton Park?
The agent of Spanish veteran Guti has claimed that West Ham are considering a move for the former Real Madrid midfielder.
Guti, who won the UEFA Champions League three times with Real, is available on a free transfer after being released by Turkish club Besiktas.
He is now thought to be a transfer target for West Ham, with reports suggesting that Sam Allardyce has agreed to take the 35-year-old on the club’s pre-season tour of Austria.
Guti’s representative, Barry O’Connor, said: “West Ham will make a final decision before the season starts.”

Clearly having completed a swift return to the top tier West Ham are a more attractive proposition when it comes to new signings and with that in mind Sam Allardyce has been linked with a number of high-profile players already this summer. Chief among them being Juventus wing duo Eljero Elia and Milos Krasic.
Guti is the latest star to be strongly linked with West Ham and perhaps the former Real Madrid midfield still has something to offer. The 35 year old is currently out of contract having been released by Besiktas.
The midfielder is incredibly experienced having racked up over 500 appearances for Real Madrid between 1995 and 2010, winning five La Liga titles as well as picking up three Champions League winners medals to boot.
