Rangers will not appear on the official Scottish Premier League fixture list for 2012-13 when it is published at 09:00 BST on Monday.
Instead, the soon-to-be liquidated club will be replaced with “Club 12”.
Rangers were bought by Charles Green’s consortium last week and it has formed a new company that will have to re-apply for SPL membership.
But no date has yet been set for the vote, where Rangers need to win support of eight of the 12 clubs.

As the crisis at Rangers continues it appears that the SPL have made preparations for the possible omission of the Ibrox side from next season’s SPL.
Clearly the possible loss of the Glasgow side from the Scottish top tier could have a disastrous effect on a league that has only been a top horse race for the best part of a generation and one would imagine that the demotion or dissolution of Rangers from the SPL would have knock on effects that could spell the death knell of football in the country.
