Emirates Stadium side reward Gunners winger with bumper contract.
Oxlade-Chamberlain set for bumper pay rise at Arsenal after incredible first season
Arsenal are set to offer England star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain a new lucrative contract which would bring the 18-year-old in line with more members of the first team squad.
The former Southampton starlet only moved to Emirates Stadium last summer, signing a £15,000-a-weel deal.
However having progressed at a rate even Arsene Wenger could not have predicted – officials are also happy with how he conducts himself off the field – the club are desperate to tie him in to a deal suitable enough to ward off any potential suitors.

Oxlade-Chamberlain richly deserves a new contract and one would imagine that the awarding of a new deal is as much about showing the young winger how highly they think of him as it is about warding off interested parties who may feel they could lure the teenager away from the Emirates Stadium.
The young wide-man excited many with his performances last term and such was the form illustrated by the attacker Wenger handed the 18 year old 26 appearances, albeit most as sub.
The form shown by Oxlade- Chamberlain then garnered him a first senior England cap followed by a spot in Roy Hodgson’s Euro 2012 squad, during which he has played in every match thus far.
