FIERY French star Hatem Ben Arfa’s Euro 2012 campaign is on a knife-edge following a bust-up with coach Laurent Blanc.
The pair had a furious row in the dressing room after France’s 2-0 defeat to Sweden on Monday – which saw the Newcastle midfielder hauled off after just an hour.
Ben Arfa kept a lid on his frustrations until after the final whistle.
But when challenged by Blanc for using his mobile phone, he laid into the coach, criticising his tactics and his substitutions.
The former Marseille star claimed he’d been singled out for his side’s poor show.
And according to reports in France, Ben Arfa challenged Blanc to send him home if he didn’t have faith in him.

Hatem Ben Arfa has only just found his way back into the French national team set-up after a good season at St James’ Park so news that the former Marseille man may have undone all that hard work with a few misplaced words is not good news for the winger.
France played woefully against Sweden and may pay the ultimate price as they take on Spain on Saturday.
Unlike some previous France national team coaches Laurent Blanc is not someone who is likely to be bossed around by his stars, the former centre back will not take abuse lightly and Ben Arfa may well have played his last minutes of Euro 2012 as a result of his outburst.
