Samir Nasir appears to have a hate/hate relationship with the French press, indeed the gesture that followed the Man City man’s goal against England, when he placed his finger over his lips in a ‘be quiet’ manner was in fact aimed at journalists from his homeland and not the opposition support, and now the winger has let loose another act of aggression towards the media.
Reuters have reported the details of an angry exchange that followed France’s limp defeat to Spain.
Asked by a reporter for a quote, he answered:
“You are looking for shit, you are looking for trouble.”
Reporter: “Well get lost, then …”
Nasri: “You tell me to get lost? Come and we’ll sort it out over there. …”
Reporter: “That’s it …”
Nasri: “F*** you, go f*** your mother, you son of a b****. F*** you, that way you can say I’m rude.”
Now let’s suppose that Nasri’s gripe with the press is a genuine one, even then such a petulant response to an admitted provocation of sorts is not a wise move. The French press is notorious for it’s unforgiving nature so the former Arsenal man can expect some rough treatment for the next few months.
