Ivory Coast international Nou Camp bound?
Didier Drogba could be set to complete what would be an astonishing transfer to Barcelona just days after signing a Shangha Shenhua contract.
The Ivorian superstar seemed set to swap west London Chelsea for the Far East after bringing the Champions League to Stamford Bridge.
But he is expected to arrive in Barcelona on Tuesday afternoon to meet club directors the next day.
Reports in Spain say his deal with Shanghai allows him to leave at no cost to move to Barcelona only.
The 34-year-old was expected to earn around £200,000-a-week in China.

Can there really be mileage in this? It wouldn’t look good for Didier Drogba if he arrived in Shanghai to a fanfare and make big proclamations about his intention to help the game in China to then only turn his back on his new club within days of arrival.
However the allure of a move to Barcelona is such that a move to Nou Camp may well supersede all other intentions. New boss Tito Vilanova may well be looking to improve his attacking options as currently the Catalan side depend all too heavily on a certain Lionel Messi.
David Villa has been out for a prolonged period with injury and was not in the best of form prior to being sidelined. Alexis Sanchez had an average first season at the club so a short term deal to bring in Drogba, much in the way the La Liga giants brought in the likes of Thierry Henry and Henrik Larsson before, could be a sensible option to consider.
