Goodison Park side close in on Croatian international.
EVERTON are closing in on Danijel Pranjic as David Moyes prepares for the potential departure of Leighton Baines.
The Toffees have re- opened talks with the 30-year-old Croatian left wing-back.
Sources close to the deal have told Starsport an agreement between Pranjic and Everton is on the cards.
Everton’s interest will fuel fears in the blue half of Merseyside that prize-asset Baines will be sold.
The England left-back, 27, is a £15m target for Manchester United.

By all accounts experienced left-back Pranjic came very close to signing for Everton in January and was set to board a plane on his way to sign a deal with the Merseyside club before it all fell through but now a move for the Bayern Munich man appears to be back on course.
The 30 year old Croatian international has struggled to retain a spot in the Allianz Arena first team over the past 18 months and a move to the Toffees could help to get his career back on track.
The adaptable wide-man can also play in a central midfield role as well as in a more advanced left sided role and would be an ideal replacement for Leighton Baines, if as expected he is to move to Old Trafford this summer.
Pranjic was part of Slaven Bilic’s Euro 2012 squad and would be available on a free transfer following the completion of his contract at Bayern Munich.
