Old Trafford forward on Turkish radar.
Galatasaray are the latest club to be linked with a swoop for Manchester United forward Dimitar Berbatov. Club president Unal Aysal has confirmed their interest in the £6m-rated 31-year-old, saying: “The Bulgarian is a great forward. “I want him to join us but, of course, coach Fatih Terim has the final word.”

Bulgarian international Dimitar Berbatov is surely ready to leave Old Trafford having seen his first team opportunities practically die a death last term. The 31 year old has been very effective when called upon and with 27 goals from his last 28 Premier League appearances the Man United striker is in fact in the form of his life.
However the former Tottenham man is now behind Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez and Danny Welbeck in the starting eleven pecking order and with just a year left on his current deal Sir Alex Ferguson may well listen to offers for a player that cost the club a record £30.75m four years ago.
A move to Galatasaray may well tempt Berbatov and would probably lead to regular first team football that the talented forward deserves.
